Kick the Clutter Challenge

I wanted to thank you from the bottom of my heart for doing the 5 day declutter challenge.

I want you to know that you have truly inspired me! You’ll be pleased to know that I have not stopped decluttering and want to do my whole house.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS FEELING!!!

And the cherry on top… because I’ve been so busy, I’ve not been boredom snacking and I’ve lost 5 pounds without even trying!

My house looks so much better already. It’s becoming easier and quicker to tidy up. I’m less stressed out and less snappy now that those little piles are gone, and I don’t have mess talking at me constantly. Oh the quiet and calmness of a neat and tidy room!

The whole experience has been nothing but a positive one.

I am so grateful for all I have learned this past week! Some things that made an impact: Knowing I don’t need to do it all at once, and that 15 minutes a day really goes a long way to decluttering.

Learning that I am not alone in the need to declutter, sometimes you convince yourself that everyone else’s houses are always clean, and only you are the failure… False, we are all in this together!

And finally, to be reminded how good it does feel to declutter and that giving something away doesn’t make the memory disappear.

I hope to continue working on decluttering and making it a family goal to make it a habit together.
